Parc Jean-Drapeau workers vote unanimously for strike mandate
Some 230 CUPE members employed at Parc Jean-Drapeau voted unanimously in favour of a strike mandate on Friday, raising the prospect of an indefinite walkout. The dispute centres on wages, with the union rejecting the employer’s offer of a 12 per cent increase over five years. The workers’ collective agreement expired in December 2023.
Montreal port breaks ground on Contrecoeur expansion

Teen charged with attempted murder after Peel Street stabbing
