THE CANADIAN HELLENIC CONGRESS’ CALL TO ACTION:
“RALLY FOR MACEDONIA” MACEDONIA IS GREEK
In the pursuit of its mandate to listen to and represent the concerns of Canadians of Hellenic origin to the appropriate government authorities, the Canadian Hellenic Congress (CHC) held a community-wide meeting in Montreal on February 12, 2018.
Many ideas, emotions and proposals were put forth. Amongst other proposals, a strong desire to hold a rally for Macedonia in Montreal was expressed. As a result, the CHC is organising a “Rally for Macedonia” on Sunday, March 11th 2018 at 2:00pm to be held at the General Consulate of Greece in Montreal, in front of the ScotiaBank building, 1002 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, Qc H3A 3L6, corner McTavish.
The CHC is putting out a call to communities, congresses, organisations, associations, religious leaders and the public at large to come out and participate in order to show support for our Macedonia!
Macedonia is Greek, and we cannot allow our history, our culture, our heritage, and possibly our land in the future, to be stolen from us!

ΚΑΛΕΣΜΑ ΓΙΑ ΔΡΑΣΗ ΤΟΥ ΕΛΛΗΝΟΚΑΝΑΔΙΚΟΥ ΚΟΓΚΡΕΣΟΥ :
«ΣΥΛΛΑΛΗΤΗΡΙΟ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ» Η ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑ ΕΙΝΑΙ ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ
Με στόχο την εξάσκηση της εντολής του να εκπροσωπεί τα συμφέροντα των Καναδών ελληνικής καταγωγής στις αρμόδιες κυβερνητικές αρχές, το Ελληνοκαναδικό Κογκρέσο (ΕΚΚ) διοργάνωσε μια παν-παροικιακή συνάντηση, σχετικά με το Μακεδονικό θέμα, στο Μοντρεάλ στις 12 Φεβρουαρίου 2018.
Στην συνάντηση αυτή παρουσιάστηκαν πολλές ιδέες, εκφράστηκαν συναισθήματα και έγιναν διάφορες προτάσεις. Μεταξύ άλλων προτάσεων, εκφράστηκε η έντονη επιθυμία των συμπάροικων για την διοργάνωση συλλαλητηρίου στο Μοντρεάλ. Ως εκ τούτου, το ΕΚΚ διοργανώνει «Συλλαλητήριο για την Μακεδονία» την Κυριακή, 11 Μαρτίου 2018 στις 2:00μμ έξω από το Γενικό Προξενείο της Ελλάδας στο Μοντρεάλ, μπροστά στο κτίριο της ScotiaBank, στο 1002 Sherbrooke Street West, Μοντρεάλ, H3A 3L6, γωνία McTavish.
Το ΕΚΚ καλεί τις κοινότητες, τους οργανισμούς, τα κογκρέσα, τους συλλόγους, τους ιερείς και όλη την παροικία ενωμένη να συμμετέχουν προκειμένου να δείξουν την υποστήριξή τους για την Μακεδονία μας !
Η Μακεδονία είναι Ελληνική και δεν πρέπει να επιτρέψουμε να μας κλέψουνε την ιστορία μας, τον πολιτισμό μας, την κληρονομιά μας και, ενδεχομένως στο μέλλον, τη γη μας !
